![]() ![]() All new members, including students attending the Stanford Summer Session, will be required to audition students who auditioned earlier this year for the Stanford Symphony Orchestra or Stanford Philharmonia will not have to reaudition. Anyone interested in auditioning for the Stanford Summer Symphony is requested to fill out the Orchestra Participation Form. Auditions for membership in the Stanford Summer Symphony (MUSIC 160S/160SZ) will take place during the week of June 13-18, 2022. The 2022 Stanford Summer Symphony will take place throughout the month of July, with rehearsals on Tuesday and Thursday evenings beginning on June 28 and a concert on Friday, July 29, in Bing Concert Hall. All of these works were also performed at the Bermuda Festival, along with many more. The program comprised five works: Czech Suite by Antonin Dvorak, Sonata da Chiesa by Adolphus Hailstork, La fille aux cheveux de lin by Claude Debussy (arranged for 11 winds by Paul Phillips), Old Wine in New Bottles by Gordon Jacob, and Symphony No. On February 26, Stanford Philharmonia performed its Winter Concert in Bing Concert Hall.
